Game of Thrones Star Kit Harington Says He’s Satisfied With How Jon Snow’s Story Ends

Game of Thrones eighth and final season is moving fast along the horizon, and while many dread the series' end, Jon Snow actor Kit Harington says that he's pretty satisfied with how his character's narrative comes to a close.

Speaking in an interview with Variety, Harington talks about his work on Game of Thrones final season, saying that he wrapped filming just a day after his co-star Peter Dinklage completed his scenes on the series. Not only does the actor recall how emotional he felt during his last day on set, he also says that he's happy with how Jon Snow's story comes to an end.

"The end of Jon's journey, whatever that may be...I was satisfied with how his story ended," Harington tells the site.

There's a lot of anticipation and anxiety building up over Game of Thrones final season. Everything is coming to a head. The White Walkers have broken through The Wall, and now they're heading down south.

Aside from the marching feet of Death, there's also a lot of concern over Jon's fate in the eighth season of Game of Thrones. Though many viewers want to see the King of the North ruling on the Iron Throne like the rightful king that he is, many speculate that Jon may die facing the Night King in the series. That, or he's going to lose Danaerys (Emilia Clarke) in battle along with their rumored child.

It's going to be an exciting run. We can't wait and see what becomes of everyone in the last chapter of Game of Thrones.

Game of Thrones season 8 premieres Sunday, April 14 on HBO at 9 pm.
