Game of Thrones Season Eight Episodes Each Feel Like A Film

It's going to be an exciting year for Game of Thrones fans. The eighth and final season of the fantasy epic is making its way to HBO in April this year and everyone's excited to see the showdown between Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and the army of the undead.

Knowing how Game of Thrones has been raising the standard of production value on television, fans are expecting a mind-blowing and explosive new set of episodes for the last season of the series, and it looks like they just might get it.

HBO chief Richard Plepler just recently spoke in an interview with Variety about the amazing things that Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss have managed to accomplish with the series. Not only does he praise the producers but he also compared the scale of each episode of the last Game of Thrones season to an entire movie.

"It's a spectacle. The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had while watching them was, ‘I'm watching a movie,'" Plepler said during his discussion with the publication, "They knew the bar was high. They've exceeded the bar. I've watched them twice without any CGI and I'm in awe. Everybody's in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production."

This is exciting news for the fanbase. Fans had to wait for more than a year for the final season of Game of Thrones to drop. Now, it looks like it's definitely going to be worth the wait.

Game of Thrones is set to premiere sometime in April.
