Game Of Thrones Winter Battle Strategy Might Have One Dangerous Flaw

Warning: This article contains spoilers for Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms."

The second episode in the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones was aired yesterday, and the new chapter of the franchise, fans got to revel in all the different reunions and revelations that came with the gathering of forces against the Night King and his army of the dead. The episode was all about preparation against the long night, and while Danny (Emilia Clarke), Jon Snow (Kit Harrington), Sansa (Sophie Turner) and all the others seem to have a pretty solid plan, some suggest that there might be a major flaw in the team's battle plan.

Though the plan to have the women and children of the North hideaway in the crypts of the Stark family while the rest go off and battle the Night King seems pretty reasonable, The Verge points out what might be a major flaw in the team's stance.

Sure, the crypts might seem like a safe place to make a last stand, but what would happen if the Night King uses his power to resurrect the undead Starks in the crypts?

It might seem farfetched, but it isn't impossible. After all, the Night King does have a lot of power. He turned an entire Dragon into one of his own, it wouldn't be difficult for him to resurrect the Stark bodies at the crypts. The only question is how near the Night King has to be to a corpse for the magic to work. Will the Night King be able to resurrect the dead from outside the walls of Winterfell?

Let's wait and see. Game of Thrones airs every Sunday at 9 pm ET on HBO.
