Game Of Thrones Daenerys May Actually Become the Series’ Biggest Villain

Game of Thrones is down to its eighth and final season on HBO and while most fans are anticipating the big battle between the land of the living and the Night King and his army of the dead, some are a bit concerned about the turn-out of fan-favorite characters like Emilia Clarke's Mother of Dragons, Daenerys Targaryen.

For the past few seasons of Game of Thrones, Daenerys has been celebrated as a just and wise liberator. Now, fans aren't quite so sure what they feel as they potentially see Targaryen madness peaking behind Danny's eyes. Now, fans believe that Danny might actually turn into a villain in the last season of Game of Thrones, following in the footsteps of her father, Aerys, the Mad King.

According to a post on Reddit, the Night King and Cersei are already too corrupted to serve as the series finale's major antagonists. Instead, to keep the show going, the post suggests that Game of Thrones is going to turn Danny into the villain. Sure, she might have had her moments trying to abolish slavery and trying to become a queen in a male-dominated land, but the post suggests that Danny would become the perfect villain because "from an ethical standpoint, she is completely bankrupt."

Sure, Daenerys might have a just world view, however, she can be brutal when she enforces her belief, swiftly punishing disloyalty. The past few episodes, we've also seen her taking more and more issue with those who don't see her as the queen or the savior that she believes she is.
