Game of Thrones Actress Sophie Turner on the Possibility of Appearing in a Spin-Off

HBO might have said that it isn't interested in working on any sort of direct follow-up to the phenomenal epic Game of Thrones, however, it seems like Sansa Stark actress Sophie turner wants to appear in a potential spinoff to the successful fantasy series.

Speaking in an interview with Variety at this year's SAG Awards, Turner was asked whether or not she would like to return to the world of Game of Thrones. It seems like the British star would like to return to Westeros, no matter the cost.

"I would give anything to go back to what we had, but it wouldn't be the same," Turner told the entertainment news outlet, "It would be different, different people running it. I don't want to be a part of it. Unless they give me the big bucks I'm not doing it!"

Right now, HBO has one officially greenlit Game of Thrones prequel series. Titled House of the Dragon, this Game of Thrones spinoff is set 300 years before the events of HBO's fantasy epic. The series focuses on the story of House Targaryen, a narrative rich in the culture of the dragonlord ancestors of the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

House of the Dragon is expected to premiere sometime in 2022. Beyond that, HBO is still considering more spinoff series based on Game of Thrones. This could give Turner room for that Game of Thrones reunion that she'd been hoping. Let's cross our fingers and wait and see.

House of the Dragon drops on HBO sometime in 2022.
