GOTG Star Dave Bautista Sitting In Controversy After Lambasting Theater That Denied Him Entry

It looks like Guardians of the Galaxy star Dave Bautista's found himself in some controversy, but not for what most fans would expect.

The professional wrestler-turned-actor has been bombarding a New Mexico Theater for refusing to admit him after the start of the film and it looks like the actor's getting a whole lot of attention on social media. Bautista has been calling out the manager of a Flix Brewhouse cinema in Alburquerque, New Mexico for refusing to bend their late arrival non-admission policy saying that he hadn't been extended the "professional courtesy" of being allowed in after being late for one minute to the movie in an empty theater with only one patron.

This one patron was Bautista's assistant who had entered before the screening started. The actor's assistant was allowed to leave and then re-enter the cinema while the Guardians of the Galaxy star and another patron had to argue with Flix Brewhouse's manager. Apparently, Bautista had been late because he had been in the lobby taking photos with a number of the cinema's patrons and so he had wanted a bit of leeway to see the film even though he was late.

However, while most fans took Bautista's sides, some were a bit troubled by the actor repeatedly naming and shaming the Flix Brewhouse's manager on social media. Sure, Flix Brewhouse might have been a little bit too rigid, following its policy to a T even though Bautista was only a few minutes late to the screening, it wasn't right for the actor to continually shame the manager online.

Bautista's latest film, Avengers: Endgame, is currently available on Digital HD.
