Doctor Strange In The Multiverse Of Madness Will Reportedly Include Namor

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness may have just recently lost its director Scott Derrickson, however, that hasn't really doused fans excitement for the Doctor Strange sequel. Everyone's excited to see Benedict Cumberbatch return to the big screen as the Sorcerer Supreme, this time teaming up with Elizabeth Olsen's Scarlet Witch.

While there hasn't been that much official news about Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnesss, there are various rumors about new additions to the movie.

A new report by BGR reveals a rumor circulating online saying that Doctor Strange 2 is set to introduce a hero fans didn't really expect to see in the movie. According to the entertainment news publication, Namor is the most likely to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness because Marvel has been rumored to have obtained the full film rights to the character.

In other news, there are new reports that also suggest that Miss America will be debuting in Doctor Strange 2. For those who aren't familiar with the character, Miss America is Marvel's very first Latin-American LGBTQ character to make her way in an ongoing Marvel comic book series. Having her in Doctor Strange would really fit in Marvel's goal to promote diversity and representation in the MCU.

However, while we're all excited to see Namor and Miss America make their way into the MCU, we advise fans to take the report with a grain of salt. We can't really be sure of anything yet till Marvel officially confirms the report.

Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is set for release on May 7, 2021.
