Disney+ Sparks Major Star Wars Debate Over Favorite Movie


Star Wars has been trending on Twitter the past few days, and not for reasons that a fan would think. Lucasfilm may have yet to announce its next Star Wars film project after the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, yet it seems like Disney+ has gotten the fanbase all riled up thanks to a single question.

Disney decided to ask its followers on Twitter which Star Wars movie was their favorite, and of course, fans decided to go off on mini-debates arguing which Star Wars movie was best.

While most fans agreed on Star Wars: Return of the Jedi as a favorite, many others suggested other films like Revenge of the Sith, and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. Some fans also have Star Wars: The Last Jedi listed as their favorite film.

Everyone seems to have a different favorite, though it shouldn't really come as a surprise to readers. The Star Wars franchise has a very diverse fanbase with different opinions on Star Wars movies, which is one of the reasons why the latest two films, Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, have both been considered divisive entries.

Disney probably wanted to keep the fanbase all hyped up and busy discussing Star Wars even though Lucasfilm doesn't have anything new movie to announce as of the moment.

Star Wars does have a brand new animated series on the way, however – Bad Batch a series following the events of Star Wars: The Clone Wars following the story of the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch.
