The COVID-19 pandemic as had a major impact on the entertainment industry, shutting down cinemas, pushing back the release dates of major blockbuster movies, and closing down the production of upcoming films and television series.

Now that the coronavirus lockdown has shut down the production of Marvel's upcoming projects, a new rumor suggests that Marvel is planning to release only half of a season of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Wanda Vision, and Loki.

According to a report by YouTube leaker and film reviewer Grace Randolph, Disney and Marvel plan to split the seasons of its upcoming series in half so that they'll still have something to release later this year. The production of upcoming series like The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and WandaVision were forced to a halt during the COVID-19 pandemic. To Disney, having half of a season to release is better than nothing at all.

Randolph says that her source has told her that Disney is looking for Marvel content for Disney+ this year because the streaming service has "no new content, really, and it hasn't even gotten started" with anything new from Marvel.

According to the pop culture insider, a number of countries were Hollywood projects were filming say that production can resume, however, studios are hesitant to continue filming because they don't want to get sued.

As with any rumor, we advise fans to take the report with a grain of salt. However, it does seem likely that Disney release half of The Falcon and the Winter soldier instead of releasing nothing at all. What do you think? Feel free to let us know in the comment section below.
