Epic Trailer for Disney's Mulan Reveals New Sorceress Villain

Disney has just given fans the very first full trailer for the live-action adaptation of the classic animated movie, Mulan.

Sure, there might have been a lot of excitement over Mulan ever since Disney released the very first teaser for the film, however, reports about the series have gotten fans angry about the upcoming movie.

Not only are fans outraged that Mulan actress Liu Yifei is supporting China in HongKong's battle against the mainland, but they're also very upset that the upcoming adaptation doesn't have a lot of the elements that made Mulan so enjoyable in the original film: Mushu and Shang are no longer around, and there's a brand new sorceress lady taking the place of the Mongolian warrior Shan Yu.

Now, Disney has just released a full and new trailer for the film. You can check it out above the article.

The new trailer shows a lot of new things about the upcoming movie. Not only do we get to see Mulan training under the name Hojin (no she's not using the ridiculous name Ping), but we also get to see the sorceress villain that's taking the place of the original baddie, Shan Yu.

Fans have been anticipating the arrival of the new trailer for Mulan. The shots look lovely and the use of the original music for Mulan is phenomenal, however, there's been a lot of concern over the live-action Disney movie the past few days because of reports saying that Mulan was actually undergoing reshoots.

While reshoots are a perfectly normal thing for any major movie, there have been a lot of inconsistencies in the reports about the reshoots for Mulan with some reports claiming that the reshoots entailed ordinary additional photography while other reports suggested more extensive work.

Luckily, based on the footage for the new Mulan, Disney seems to have a good handle on the upcoming live-action remake.

Mulan premieres March 27, 2020.
