Disney is Completing the Star Wars Film Franchise on Disney+ This July

It looks like Disney is finally going to be able to gather all of the entries in Star Wars' live-action film franchise in two weeks' time.

The House of Mouse may have had the entire Skywalker saga on Disney+ for the past few months, however, Solo: A Star Wars Story had been stuck at Netflix because of Disney's former partnership with the leading streaming company. Now that the deal with Netflix is set to expire, the infamous Star Wars spinoff can finally make its way to Disney+ next month, allowing Disney to complete all of Lucasfilm's live-action film offerings on its own streaming site.

According to a report by Decider, Disney+ just recently revealed its full list of movies and TV series coming around in July, and as expected, Solo is part of that list. The film is set to arrive on the streaming site on July 10.

With Solo arriving on Disney+ next month, Star Wars fans can finally find all of Lucasfilm's Star Wars movies in one place. Future films are also expected to find their way to the streaming site after their theatrical releases.

The studio is preparing a new project with Kevin Feige, a movie with J.D. Dillard, and a Star Wars trilogy with Star Wars: The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson. Thor: Ragnarok director Taika Waititi is also set to direct and co-write a brand new feature film for the galaxy far, far away. We're hoping that we'll get more information about these projects in the months to come.

The Skywalker saga is available for streaming on Disney+.
