Marvel fans have even more reason to subscribe to Disney’s upcoming streaming platform, Disney+. Not only is Marvel developing a slew of brand new series for the site, but it looks like the studio is going to include deleted scenes and other extras along with the Marvel movies being offered on Disney+.
Disney+ may have yet to launch here in the US, however, Disney decided to test launch the site early in the Netherlands, allowing fans a glimpse of all the content they can enjoy when they subscribe to the streaming site.
Taking to the Marvel Studios subreddit, one Disney+ subscriber in Netherland shared a post revealing that Disney included deleted scenes and a number of other extras along with the Marvel movies posted on the site.
Disney+ will include deleted scenes and other extras with the movies. Infinity war has a "the Directors' Roundtable" extra. from r/marvelstudios
The screenshot shows “The Guardians Get Their Groove Back” featurette for Avengers: Infinity War, as well as “The Directors’ Roundtable,” a video showcasing how “Eight amazing directors reflect on how their movies contribute to the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s larger storytelling adventure."
This is definitely going to be a big factor in fans' decision to subscribe to Disney+. Marvel fans would love to see all the extra features usually made exclusive to home releases of films like Avengers: Endgame and Infinity War.
Of course, even without the extras and the deleted scenes, fans would probably want to subscribe to Disney+ for all the new material that Marvel is offering on the site. Marvel’s preparing quite a number of exciting new mini-series, including Hawkeye, Loki, WandaVision, The Hulk and the Winter Soldier, Moon Knight, She-Hulk, Ms. Marvel, and What If....?
Disney+ launches in the US on November 12, 2019.
