Could Mackenzie Davis Actually Be Playing A Cyborg In Terminator 6?

There's been a whole lot of talk going on about the upcoming Terminator 6, especially after Paramount released the first look photo of the film. Not only do fans get to see Linda Hamilton return as an older Sarah Conner, but they also get to see two new female lead stars, Natalia Reyes and Mackenzie Davis.

While Reyes has been described as the human protagonist Dani Ramos, Davis has been set to play the part of a Grace, "soldier-assassin" from the future. This description along with the new official photo of Terminator 6 has gotten speculative wheels turning – could Davis be playing a female cyborg? Or could she be a full-on Terminator like Arnold Schwarzenegger once was?

There hasn't been any confirmation from the studio just yet, but the newly-released photo of Reyes, Davis, and Hamilton suggest that this "soldier-assassin" from the future might be more than human. Not only does Davis have symmetrical lines running across her chest, she also has a few running across the length of her arms as well – a revelation which suggests that Grace might be more than human despite looking like one.

The idea doesn't sound too farfetched either. Some of the older terminator films like Terminator 2: Judgement Day featured human-like, shape-shifting Terminator robots like the T-100. Davis could very well be introduced the same way in Terminator 6. We'll just have to wait and see.

Terminator 6 hits cinemas November 22, 2019.
