Check Out Macaulay Culkin As The Joker In New The Batman Image

Earlier this month, Warner Brothers confirmed the rumors that Robert Pattinson was being cast as the Dark Knight in Matt Reeve's The Batman. Now, there are rumors going around saying that Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin might take on the role of the Joker in the new DC Extended Universe movie.

The rumors haven't been confirmed yet, but there's been a lot of interest in the idea of seeing Macaulay Culkin as Gotham's Clown Prince of Crime. There's just something about the former child actor's face that works for the role. Now, thanks to the work of artist bryanzapp, fans get to see what Culkin might look like if he were to become The Batman's Joker.

The art piece looks pretty good. Culkin looks good as the Joker. We're not quite sure whether he'd get hired for the part though, but we're hoping that he gets the chance.

There are very few details for The Batman and the movie's casting. Pattinson has been the only confirmed actor for the film so far. Plot details for the film are also under wraps though word on the street has it that the film will feature a younger version of Bruce Wayne and a set of Rogue's Gallery of villains that reportedly includes Batman's on-and-off love interest, Catwoman.

Analysts are expecting The Batman to be the first entry in a new DC trilogy featuring Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader.

The Batman is set for release on October 4, 2019.
