Captain Marvel TV Spot Has Fans Swooning Online

Marvel released a new extended TV spot for Captain Marvel during last night's College Football Playoffs and it looks like fans can't help but squeal over the new trailer.

Sure, Captain Marvel might be one of the most highly-anticipated films of 2019, but when Marvel dropped the first trailer for its first-ever female-lead standalone movie fans were disappointed by the what they saw. Not only were many underwhelmed by the tone of the trailer, but they were disappointed by the bland delivery of lines, noticing that Brie Larson's Captain Marvel had a deadpan look throughout most of the trailer.

Now, the new TV spot for Captain Marvel shows much more promise for the upcoming film, showcasing bright Rock-and-Roll wit from everyone's favorite photon superhero. Really, it's hard not to fall in love with Carol Danvers when she has such a zippy attitude on screen.

Here are some of the reactions that fans have been posting on Twitter after seeing the new footage from Marvel's latest Captain Marvel video:

This is pretty good news for Marvel. Most of those who were initially wary of Captain Marvel now seem to be onboard the upcoming comic book movie, and all thanks to a better trailer produced by the studio.

Hopefully, this will increase the advanced ticket sales of the film. Fandango just announced the start of ticket sales for Captain Marvel yesterday, and Marvel fans have been busy buzzing around the site nabbing seats to Marvel's first offering of the year.

Captain Marvel is set to premiere March 8, 2019.
