Captain America Star Chris Evans Almost Reveals Major Avengers: Endgame Spoiler

Avengers: Endgame is fast approaching its release and the cast and crew of Joe and Anthony Russo's upcoming Avengers movie have been busy promoting the film and adding to the already overwhelming hype surrounding the project. While everyone at Marvel's pretty careful not to leak out any spoilers to the Avengers: Infinity War sequel, Captain America star Chris Evans almost let a major secret out of the bag today.

The surviving members of the Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy recently attended a press conference in Los Angeles earlier this morning, and during the event, Evans was asked about the outcome of Marvel's upcoming film. The Captain America star gets very, very close to spilling the beans – luckily he gets cut off by a buzzer sound made by director Joe Russo that brings him back to his senses.

"I can give broad strokes. I think the completion of the arc, right. This movie does kind of provide kind of an ending to the…," Evans tells journalists gathered at the press conference.

Evans must have been at a pretty spoilery trajectory right there because Joe Russo had to use two buzzers on the Endgame star.

Marvel has been very careful not to let spoilers leak out to the public, using every means possible to keep Endgame's secrets under wraps. Not only has Marvel trained its actors to keep mum about the film, but the directors have also limited Endgame stars' access to script pages that have nothing to do with their characters.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
