Brie Larson Shares Brand New Image of Herself As Live-Action Metroid Samus Aran

Brie Larson may already have a place for herself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, however, the Captain Marvel star has been looking for roles in other major franchises. Not only has the Marvel star been vocal about her hopes to join Star Wars' galaxy far, far away, but she's also opened up about how she "would love" to star in a Metroid movie.

Posting on Twitter, Larson decided to share fan artist BossLogic's new concept art of the Captain Marvel star as Samus Aran.

"Make it happen," Larson writes in her post.

BossLogic made the art piece after Larson declared her interest in playing Samus Aran. The actress made an appearance on Gary Whitta's Animal Crossing talk show on Twitch, and during her talk with the screenwriter, Larson revealed how much she would want to star in a Metroid movie.

"I would love that so much. So, I was Samus for Halloween two years ago… It was literally a $20 costume I bought off of Amazon, it was like nothing," Larson said during the Animal Crossing talk show, "I was so excited about it, and so I posted a picture of it on Instagram of me and the costume and it turned into this thing of people being like 'Woah!' She was always my character that I played in Super Smash Bros. and I just loved her. So that whole thing started and I've definitely not put a squash to that story and I definitely want to make that movie, I definitely want to participate in that. So, Nintendo, once again, I would love to do it!"

While we're not quite sure whether a Metroid movie may be developed in the foreseeable future, studios would be remiss not to have Larson take on the role. What do you think? Let us know in the comment section below.
