Brand New Kylo And Knights Of Ren Fight Scene Reportedly Appearing In Star Wars: Episode IX

There might not be much official news about Star Wars: Episode IX, but with the film currently in the middle of production, it looks like there have been a lot of new reports about The Last Jedi sequel leaking online. One of these new reports suggests the possibility of a Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and Knights of Ren fight scene – one which helps bring back the thread that director J.J. Abrams started in his first Star Wars film, The Force Awakens.

According to Express, there have been a number of reports saying that a new group of six actors has been working on a few fight scenes, training with axes and spears. These actors aged 21 to 27 have also been set to work together with Driver in the film sometime in October. A number of stunts for these actors have already been coordinated and production plans to create a few "small explosions in front of a large green screen."

The report also says that these actors will also be "interacting with some extras that have martial arts experience," suggesting that the battle sequence may involve weapon-savvy fighters.

Of course, as exciting as it may sound to fans the Knights of Ren might finally materialize in Episode IX, Star Wars fans ought to be reminded that they should take this new report with a grain of salt. Nothing's entirely sure till we get confirmation from Lucasfilm.

Star Wars: Episode IX hits cinemas December 20, 2019.
