Black Adam Script Leaks Reveal The Justice Society Of America

Warner Brothers might not be that willing to let fans know what it has planned for Black Adam, but it seems like a script for the film has been leaked online.

According to a report by Cosmic Book News, there are two sources claiming to have details on the script for Black Adam, and it looks like both sources include different versions of the Justice Society of America.

One source comes from Geeks Worldwide writer Thomas Palito who claims to have read parts of the Black Adam script, calling the thing a "wonderland."

"The tone is right down the middle between Shazam and Batman v Superman/Man of Steel, light sigh humor with some dark elements. It works well," Palito shares.

Levity sprinkled with darker elements seems to fit Black Adam. The character is after all, an anti-hero.

The second source comes from Fandom Wire, and this time the leak provides specific details about the movie. The entertainment news site claims that the movie starts with an 30-minute origin story where Black Adam (Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) comes to face to face with the JSA after setting free the seven sins that fans get to see in Shazam!. This sequence is before Zachary Levi's standalone movie, and in the end of the origin, fans are going to get to see the JSA defeat and imprison Black Adam.

The JSA is made up of Wizard Shazam, Hawkgirl, Hawkman, Doctor Fate, the Flash, the Jay Garric, and Green Lantern.

After the thirty-minute long origin story, viewers are fast forwarded to the present where Black Adam escapes from the tomb where he's imprisoned.

It's an interesting rumor to say the least. We'd definitely love to see the JSA in Black Adam. Let's wait and see whether the leak really does come true.

Black Adam is set to premiere on December 22, 2021.
