Bandersnatch Black Mirror Movie Delays Season 5 Of The Series

Black Mirror fans might be busy going through all the different alternative routes of the award-winning science fiction anthology series' very first feature-length film, Bandersnatch, but it looks like they'll have to stick to the choose-your-own-adventure story for a while. Season 5 of Black Mirror has just been delayed.

The Hollywood Reporter just recently went on an interview with Black Mirror creator and series writer Charlie Brooker together with Annabel Jones, his producing partner. During their discussion with Brooker and Jones, the news outlet managed to confirm the delay of season 5 of Black Mirror, an inevitability after all the work the team had to put in with Bandersnatch.

While it's upsetting to hear that Black Mirror season 5 has been delayed for an indefinite period of time, we'd understand that Brooker and his team would need to take a break after Bandersnatch. The movie is a complicated choose-your-own-adventure feature where a young game designer from 1984 begins to question reality. Allowing viewers to choose their own path as they go along the movie, Bandersnatch is one of Black Mirror's most complex episode. Word has it that the film has five hours of total footage for fans to go through and explore.

Five hours could have been five different episodes of Black Mirror season 5, but then again, life would be very different without Bandersnatch on Netflix. Right now fans should just lose themselves in the movie while waiting for all the different episodes of Black Mirror season 5.

Right now Netflix doesn't have a release date for season 5 of the series, but we'll update everyone as soon as we get word.
