Avengers: Infinity War Directors On Thanos vs. Hulk

The Incredible Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) might be one of the strongest Avenger, but according to Avengers: Infinity War directors Joe and Anthony Russo, the Mad Titan Thanos is infinitely more powerful than Marvel's World Breaker.

Sitting down to speak with Hey U Guys, the Russo Brothers build up Thanos' fearsome reputation, describing the Mad Titan as an "unbeatable" force on the battlefield who's much "stronger than the Hulk.

"I mean it's like death comes to call for the Avengers," Joe Russo said during the interview. "This is a nearly unbeatable force who is determined to destroy half the life in the universe to bring it to balance. He sees it as an overgrown garden that he needs to prune. As you mentioned, he is fairly invincible. He's a sort of genetic mutation who's the Genghis Khan of the universe. He's unbeatable on the battlefield, stronger than the Hulk, skin is invincible. So it's going to cost the Avengers something to defeat him."

Thanos certainly is a force to reckon with, and it's great to hear that the Marvel Cinematic Universe's version of the Mad Titan naturally has immense strength just like he does in the comics. It's going to be a tough fight for the Earth's mightiest heroes.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
