Avengers: Endgame’s Chris Hemsworth Open To Reprising Role In Another Thor Movie

The fate of the Avengers might be very uncertain right now, but it looks like Avengers star Chris Hemsworth is still pretty much open to returning as everyone's favorite Asgardian God of Thunder in Marvel's Thor film series after the release of Avengers: Endgame.

Speaking in an interview with Cinema Blend, Hemsworth declares that he'd love to play Thor for the Marvel Cinematic Universe as long as he's allowed to because he's enjoyed the work so much.

"I'd play this character for as long as anyone would let me. I've loved it so much. But the combination of this many characters in this Phase Three, as Marvel calls it, you'll never have this interaction with this many people again," the actor tells the entertainment news outlet," Who knows what the future holds and whether they do prequels and sequels or whatever, I'd be open to anything. But right now, this is where we finish up."

This is definitely interesting news that arrives in the wake of Thor: Ragnarok star Tessa Thompson's little claim that Marvel is looking into a fourth Thor movie, this time with director Taika Waititi. It seems like Thompson's tease does have weight to it after all, and Hemsworth wants in on whatever Marvel has planned.

Of course, there's no certainty whether Thor survives the events of Endgame this week. It won't be easy undoing Thanos dusty Massacre, and many expect main heroes like Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr) and Thor to sacrifice their lives to bring back the dead in the film.

Do you think Thor will make it out of Endgame alive? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.

Avengers: Endgame premieres April 26, 2019.
