Avengers: Endgame Fan Theory Says Captain America Might Be Star-Lord’s Grandfather

Captain America (Chris Evans) might not have gotten the life he's always wanted to live with Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell) till the arrival of Avengers: Endgame, however, it seems like there's a new fan theory making the rounds online saying that Steve Rogers might be a grandparent.

There's a brand new fan theory about Captain America circulating on Reddit, and one of the most recent fan theories suggest something particularly interesting about Cap – Steve Rogers might be the biological grandfather of StarLord (Chris Pratt).

This theory by Redditor u/chill_bishop says Peter's Grandmother (played by Laura Haddock, the actress who also plays Peter's mother, Meredith Quil), actually had a fling with Steve Rogers at some point during The First Avenger.

It's kind of wild and there isn't that much evidence to support the theory, however, it's interesting to see fans want Star-Lord related to Captain America. We don't really see the resemblance, but it's interesting nonetheless.

Right now, Steve Rogers is retired from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, though we're not quite sure whether or not the studio might bring back Evans for a few cameo roles here and there in Phase 4 of the franchise.

Pratt, on the other hand, is set to reprise his role as Peter Quill. It may take some time, however, as James Gunn is still busy working on Suicide Squad before heading on to develop Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. The film has yet to receive a release date as well.

Avengers: Endgame is available on Digital HD, Blu-Ray, and DVD.
