Arrow Showrunner Marc Guggenheim Responds to Epic DCEU Cameo in Crisis on Infinite Earths

Warning: This article contains major spoilers for Part 4 of Crisis on Infinite Earths.

DC fans were stunned tonight. Arrowverse just recently closed out the Crisis on Infinite Earths and during the last day of the CW's annual DC crossover event, fans got to see a surprising cameo. While Crisis on Infinite Earths promised the appearance of many former DC television and film stars, fans weren't expecting to see Gran Gustin's version of Barry Allen to come face to face with Ezra Miller's version of the hero.

Right in the middle of the fourth hour of the Crisis on Infinite Earths Gustin's version of The Flash makes a journey through a brand new Speed Force, allowing him to run into Miller's version of DC's fastest man alive.

This is the first time that we've ever gotten to see the DC Extended Universe crossover with The CW's DC universe, and fans have been busy celebrating the meeting on social media.

Taking to Twitter, Arrow showrunner and executive producer Marc Guggenheim addresses the exciting meet-up between the two Flashes, responding to a fan who asked just "how many kidneys" it took the show to get the DCEU's version of the Flash in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

"I literally had to grow two extra," the producer replied.

We're not really sure how Guggenheim managed to strike a deal with the DCEU, but the cameo is certainly exciting news. Imagine the possibility of other CW series meeting with their film counterparts or related DC superheroes.

What do you think of Miller's appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earths? Did you enjoy the cameo just as much as we did? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section below.
