Aquaman’s Jason Momoa Has A Subtle Response To Body Shamers With New Image

Last month, Aquaman star Jason Momoa was harassed by fans who couldn't help but notice that the DC Extended Universe star was no longer in the superhero shape that he was known for. Body shamers were calling out the actor for his "dad bod," criticizing the actor for gaining a few pounds while he was on vacation with his family.

After firing back at his haters with a video proudly showing off his dad bod, the actor has returned to social media with recent pictures that show his return to superhero form.

Taking to Instagram to promote his latest collaboration with So iLL, a company creating dirtbags and shoes for those interested in the outdoors, Momoa decided to post a series of pictures of himself together with the merchandise. The items look great, but Momoa looks even greater. It's clear that the actor has returned to his stunning superhero body.

It's definitely great to see that Momoa's back in shape, though we'd still be happy with the actor relaxing with his dad bod. Keeping up a superhero shape can be quite a task, and now that Momoa's no longer working on Aquaman, the actor deserves a break. Sure, Warner Brothers is definitely going to bring the actor back in for a sequel to Arthur Curry's water origin movie, but there's nothing wrong with the actor taking his time to relax and let his body breathe. Aquaman 2 isn't scheduled to begin production just yet – let Momoa have time to enjoy himself.

Aquaman 2 is scheduled for release on December 16, 2022.
