Aquaman Actress Amber Heard Pays Tribute To Her Recently Deceased Mother

It looks like Aquaman star Amber Heard is suffering from the loss of her mother, Paige Heard.

Taking to Instagram, the DC Extended Universe star revealed her mother's passing in a touching tribute post. Describing her mother as a "beautiful, gentle soul," Heard reveals how is she "heartbroken and devastated" by the loss.

In her post, Heard shares two photos of herself with her mother. One was taken recently, and the other was taken as a child.

"I am heartbroken and devastated beyond belief at the loss of my mom, Paige Heard. She left us too early, clasping onto the memory of her beautiful, gentle soul," the actress wrote. "She will be missed from the very depths of our hearts forever. Her unflinching, open heart made her the most beautiful woman I had ever known. It's hard to imagine and even more difficult to say but I feel truly lucky to have been her daughter and been given the gift of having the light she shone on everyone, fall on me for nearly 34 years."

It's certainly been a difficult time for Heard. Not only has the actress lost a parent, but she's been embroiled in a legal battle with her former spouse, Johnny Depp. The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them star just recently filed a defamation case against Heard, claiming that the Washington Post op-ed that she had written which had implied that he was a domestic abuser, had been defamatory in nature. The latest report regarding the feud notes that Heard may face jail time of up to three years if the court finds that she had falsified evidence in order to obtain a temporary restraining order against her former spouse.
