Thor: Ragnarok's early reviews were mostly positive, and now, more critics have spoken. The next Marvel blockbuster finally gets an aggregate score in Rotten Tomatoes, and if you've been having doubts about its quality, you'd probably be relieved that the film got 100% Fresh so far. Here's what the consensus for the film says:
Exciting, funny, and above all fun, Thor: Ragnarok is a colorful cosmic adventure that sets a new standard for its franchise -- and the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Of course, it's likely that its perfect score will drop once general audience get to watch it but this is a great sign that the Taika Waititi-directed film is definitely worth watching. Many critics are praising the film's jokes and fun story.
Ragnarok "plunges headfirst into unbridled comedy and Waititi gives his actors ample room to showcase their natural comedic talents, especially Hemsworth and Blanchett," Kelli Weston of The Skinny writes.
The Wrap's Alfonso Duralde praised the film's action and humor:: "Both the banter and the fighting, it should be noted, are excellent, so whether you go to superhero movies for the glossy escapism or the pulse-pounding action, you'll get your large soda's worth."
