This Massive Star Destroyer is Actually A Fully Functional Gaming Computer

At first glance it looks like a Venator-class Star Destroyer model, but inside this beautiful case are all the components of an exceptional gaming computer.

This epic chassis is made with a machined 2mm steel shell, cut from a metal sheet. A majority of the exterior components were produced on a 3D printer, and the guts are mostly comprised of store bought computer parts. The computer is fully functional and has USB ports, SSD slots, and plenty of fans to keep it cool.

This rig was designed and built by Sander van der Velden, who has been customizing computers since 2011. Sander says he is a sci-fi nut and when an idea likes this pops into his head, he just has to build it. The thought to create a Star Destroyer computer came to him a few years ago. He didn't have the necessary experience at the time to build it, so he studied CNC and laser cutting techniques for over two years before beginning and completing this project. Below are pictures of the Star Destroyer at various stages of construction.
