This Dragon Ball Z VR Experience is What Every Kamehameha Fan Needs

Any Dragon Ball fan would know the fun and pain of trying the Kamehameha attack even once in your life. That intense concentration to put all the energy in your hands, that loud yell to summon everything in you, and that intense action power you imagine blasting from your hands.

The pain, of course, is that nothing happens however loud you try to yell.

But anime merchandise company MegaHouse is going to change that (sort of) by introducing a new VR experience via the BotsNew Characters VR Dragon Ball Z.

The goal of this experience is to let you od a Kamehameha attack and see just how much power you can exert compared to your opponents. According to Anime News Network, this headset can be used with a smartphone that measures four to six inches. There are finger controllers that can sense the user's gestures for accurate power measurement.

This headset is not launching alone though, so you don't have to worry about a lack of anything to do. There's a smartphone app called Hachamecha Battle VR, Kamehameha Experience AR, and Ultimate Scouter AR, which is basically seeing how Kamehameha will be applied to the environment. At the same time, the other app will let you measure other people's levels—a great thing to have to make sure you're the most powerful of them all.

So far, only a Japanese release for the VR experience has been announced. BotsNew Characters VR Dragon Ball Z will be out at the end of June for 12,000 yen (approx. US$110).
