The Women Of The Marvel Cinematic Universe Take A Photo

Marvel Studios recently had a photo shoot with Vanity Fair, celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the popular film company. We got to see characters don new and old costumes, which raised some speculation from fans and made many nostalgic over the early days of the MCU. In a cool moment, Thor producer Craig Kyle was able to take a picture with all of the women who were in the shoot.

Kyle posted the picture on Twitter and noted that it was for his daughter. The writer claimed that it was one of the coolest photos he has ever taken and he isn't wrong, given the amount of star power and charisma in that picture. From left to right, the photo includes Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie), Brie Larson(Captain Marvel), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Danai Gurira (Okoye), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Evangeline Lilly (Wasp), and Pom Klementieff (Mantis).

A couple of notable omissions include Jaimie Alexander, who portrayed Sif in the first two Thor films, and Hayley Atwell, the actress who played Peggy Carter in the first two Captain America movies, and the short-lived Agent Carter series. To be fair, Alexander might be busy with her show Blindspot, while Atwell might have other projects she's working on.

It's worth noting that Tessa Thompson once pitched an all-female Marvel film to Kevin Feige. She was joined by a number of the actresses in the photo seen above, so it could happen in the future/phase four.

These awesome females will be in Avengers: Infinity War and the unnamed Avengers 4.
