The Walking Dead Comics Will See a Death That Everyone Will Love

In a matter of weeks, we'll finally know who we'll be saying goodbye to from Rick's gang. But even before that, The Walking Dead comic book creator Robert Kirkman revealed something interesting by way of another death.

This time, most fans will probably cheer and rejoice at the fact. At the New York Comic Con panel, Kirkman revealed that Negan's Lucille will also meet her end in the saddest manner yet—through the hands of none other than Negan himself.

It was revealed that Lucille will be shattered to pieces in the latest issue. And we might even get to see just how attached Negan is to his little girl.

That's not all that Kirkman revealed. It appears that two characters almost died earlier in his unpublished version of The Walking Dead.

According to Yahoo, he revealed that that Glenn should've died earlier in the comics. His death was already prepared in a comic cover and the actual part of the comic, but the good thing was Kirkman changed his mind at the last minute.

Not only that even Negan should've only had a short time in the limelight, with his demise scheduled to happen before the Something to Fear arc ended. However, Kirkman developed a liking for the character that he forewent an interesting scene where his head should've been delivered to Maggie in a box Se7en-style.

I'm personally thankful for with Kirkman's decision on both counts. But since the show has already arrived on the same scene as the comic, we'll see if the showrunners have decided to do another deviation.

The Walking Dead season 7 will be out on AMC on Oct. 23.
