The Title For Star Wars Rebels Season 2 Finale Teases The Moment Fans Fear

Ahsoka Tano, the former apprentice of Anakin Skywalker, was first introduced in David Feloni's previous animated show Star Wars: Clone Wars, and a lot of fans were happy to see her return in Filoni's Star Wars Rebels. She's definitely regarded as one of the best characters in the franchise.

However, her return in Rebels could mean that she would be destined to confront her ex-Jedi Master. As thrilling as the confrontation will be, only one of the two is guaranteed to emerge alive, and we all know that Darth Vader doesn't die at this point in the Star Wars timeline, which leads us to believe that Ahsoka might die at the finale.

Filoni already confirmed that the two will meet at some point during Season 2, and now, the episode titles for the season finale have been revealed, and they hint what we fear for. German site Jedi Bibliothek uncovered the final few episode titles:

2 × 18 "Shroud of Darkness" - March 2, 2016
2 × 19 "The Forgotten Droid" - March 16, 2016
2 × 20 "The Mystery of Chopper Base" - March 23, 2016
2 × 21 "Twilight of the Apprentice: Part I" - March 30, 2016
2 × 22 "Twilight of the Apprentice: Part II" - March 30, 2016

"Twilight of the Apprentice" doesn't sound like Ahsoka is going to make it out alive, but the good news is that the season finale will be an hour-long. But the "apprentice" might be referring to Kanan or Ezra's graduation from apprentice to Jedi Knight. Ashoka might not depart after just only one season of the show.

Other than the finale, the Shroud of Darkness episode title could refer to the re-introduction of Darth Maul. His re-introduction was teased in the mid-season trailer for Star Wars Rebels, which you can watch below:
