The Title For Avengers 4 Will Apparently Spoil Infinity War

A lot of fans who follow Marvel news will know that the studio is planning on shooting the next two Avengers movies back-to-back, and though we already have a title for the next one —Infinity War — we still have yet to know what Avengers 4 will officially be called. Apparently, the studio is holding back on the reveal since the title will spoil Infinity War.

This was confirmed by Marvel head Kevin Feige when he was asked by Cinema Blend about whether the title for Avengers 4 would give anything away for Infinity War. He simply answered, "Yeah, for sure."

Avengers 3 and 4 will be the culmination of everything Marvel has built up to since Iron Man came out back in 2008. Definitely a lot of hype is building up for this movie, and directors the Russo Brothers are under a lot of pressure from the fans.

On a side note, the two movies were originally titled Infinity War Part One and Part Two, but seeing that Marvel has chosen to go a different direction when it comes to the titles, fans are wondering just how similar the two movies will end up being. According to Feige, Infinity War and Avengers 4 are "two very different movies."

As of now, fans can only remain hopeful that Marvel studios knows what it's doing, so all we can do now is play the waiting game. Plus, if Marvel is keeping you pent up, there are always DC movies to look forward to like Justice League and Wonder Woman.

Avengers: infinity War comes out May 4, 2018, and Avengers 4 is set for a release on May 3, 2019.
