The Porn Parody For DC's Suicide Squad Just Won More Awards Than The Original

DC's original Suicide Squadearned an Academy Award nomination, and we are still waiting to find out what happens to the reboot, but there's another industry where its parody robbed most of the awards. The Oscars equivalent in the adult video industry is the Adult Video News Awards, and this year's ceremony takes place January 21.

Suicide Squad XXX, a parody of DC's antihero teamup movie, dominated the AVN Awards. The original might have received a nomination for Best Makeup and Hairstyling, but the porn parody directed by Axel Braun won Best Parody, Best Actress, Best Non-Sex Performance, Best Three-Way Sex Scene, Best Director, Best Art Direction, Best Screenplay, and Movie of the Year.
