The Original Green and Pink Power Rangers Reunite


Lionsgate and Saban's new Power Rangers movie will be released this weekend, and it looks like they're not just aiming to get new fans but they also want to win back the old fans who watched the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers series in the 90's. One of the ways they do that is by including two cameos from the original series, Jason David Frank and Amy Jo Johnson, the Green and Pink Rangers respectively. They don't appear as their classic characters but they show up in the film. They didn't just reunite in the film, but they also reunited outside the Rangers universe.

Jason David Frank managed to get a photo of himself and Amy Jo Johnson together, and he shared it on his Facebook and Instagram pages. Check out the photo:

Synopsis:

Saban's Power Rangers follows five ordinary high school kids who must become something extraordinary when they learn that their small town of Angel Grove – and the world – is on the verge of being obliterated by an alien threat. Chosen by destiny, our heroes quickly discover that they are the only ones who can save the planet. But to do so they will have to overcome their real-life issues and band together as the Power Rangers before it is too late.

Power Rangers is set to release in theaters on March 24, 2017.
