The Defenders: Get A Better Look At The Team With These Stills

Yesterday saw the release of a full trailer for Marvel Netflix's The Defenders, and it looks pretty great! A lot of fans can't wait to see all four heroes (plus their sidekicks) come together in the series, and we have a bunch of new stills released which show everyone coming together.

For one, we get better looks at all the scenes that we saw in the trailer like when Iron Fist meets Luke Cage and the table discussion that everyone has in the Chinese restaurant. There's also a picture of Matt Murdock intervening Misty Knight's interrogation of Jessica Jones as well as another intimate meeting between Luke Cage and Claire Temple.

I don't know about you, but the person I'm actually pretty excited to see is Sigourney Weaver. Everyone knows that Marvel Netflix has been able to deliver us with some memorable villains, and with Weaver's status, I'm pretty sure she's going to go down as another Kingpin or Kilgrave.

Marvel's The Defenders follows Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Iron Fist (Finn Jones). A quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together.

The Defenders airs on Netflix Aug. 18.
