The Avengers Won’t Be Adding Any New Members In Infinity War

Marvel might be gathering more than 60 heroes on the big screen in Avengers: Infinity War but it looks like the Avengers won't be adding any official members into the core group anytime soon. The Avengers need to take some time out after falling out and exchanging blows in Captain America: Civil War and even though they'll be interacting with other heroes like the Guardians of the Galaxy, they won't be letting the bunch into their group that easily.

Speaking with Jimmy Kimmel on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to speak about his current film projects, Black Panthter star Chadwick Boseman revealed that the Avengers won't be adding any new members to their team.

"No. No new characters. All the same ones," Boseman explained.

The group is already emotionally strained as it is –adding in James Gunn's wisecracking cosmic superhero misfits and other Marvel heroes wouldn't really help the dynamic. However fans can still expect the Avengers too interact with the other Marvel heroes, some of which will be newly introduced into the film. Marvel plans to expand its cinematic universe, and it looks like a few characters will be making their debut in Infinity War.

Here's a description of the film:

Avengers: Infinity War is described by Marvel Studios as the culmination of everything in theMarvel Cinematic Universesince Iron Man in 2008. The movie is filming now under directors Anthony and Joe Russo, from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely.

Avengers: Infinity War hits the big screen on May 4, 2018. It's sequel releases on May 3, 2019.
