Tessa Thompson Joining Chris Hemsworth In Men In Black Reboot

It looks like Valkyrie and Thor are working together again.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tessa Thompson is starring in Sony's Men in Black reboot together with her Thor: Ragnarok co-star Chris Hemsworth.

Though the reboot will feature characters outside of Agents K (Tommy Lee Jones) and J (Will Smith) Thompson and Hemsworth will still operate in a universe built on the contemporary science-fiction world established by the first Men in Black movies.

The original Men in Black movie followed agents K and J, members of a secret organization called the Men in Black, a group that protected the planet from intergalactic baddies.

Though Sony's still trying to keep the reboot's details under wraps, sources tell the publication that the new Men in Black movie is going to be more of an ensemble movie than a two-handler protagonist movie, taking in a more global aspect.

The movie is to be written by Iron Man scriptwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum as well as to be directed by Fate of the Furious filmmaker F. Gary Gray. Walter F. Parkes and Laurie MacDonald are to return as the film's producers. Steven Spielberg is to executive produce the project.

The Men in Black Reboot is set to premiere on June 14, 2019.
