Super Mario Odyssey Gets Amazing Broadway-Inspired Trailer

Nintendo has always been great at making cute games and the latest Super Mario Odyssey trailer proves that. Featuring the game's ridiculously catchy theme song, we see Mario interact with the very real people of New Donk City and dance with them in a video clearly inspired by Broadway. It's a really cute video and should put a smile on the faces of Mario fans.

We see Mario's hat-throwing ability in the live-action setting played to comedic effect. The trailer takes place in the New Donk City Festival, which probably won't happen in-game but should. It's doubtful that we will see Mario dancing in the actual game, but it's a fun way to get the attention of fans and it is well-made.

Aside from the Broadway stuff, we also see plenty of gameplay and the number of enemies Mario can possess with his hat. From the frequently seen T-Rex to actual electricity and humanoid lizards, there is a lot of variety. For even more cuteness, we see Mario throw his hat to a dog who playfully catches it without getting possessed.

Super Mario Odyssey comes to the Nintendo Switch later this on October 27.
