Suicide Squad: Hell To Pay Gets Digital Comic Sequel

While fans only have a few days left to wait for Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay, they might be interested to know that DC is already working on a comic book sequel. In fact, the first chapter is available now and can be bought, which might be spoilerific for those that want to see the film first. Honestly, it's an odd move but it might be worth the read for fans.

In a press release from DC Comics, it's revealed that Amanda Waller is looking to escape her deadly fate and the Suicide Squad, or Task Force X, went through hell and back to get an item that ended up not being used by Waller. The digital comic book series will be weekly and is written by Jeff Parker of Batman 66 and Agents of Atlas fame.

Apparently, the weekly series will run for 12 issues with artists Matthew Dow Smith, Agustin Padilla, Stefano Raffaele and Cat Staggs providing interior art for the series. The first cover also shows Harley Quinn taking on Bane, so that should be fun.

Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay #1 (of 12) can be purchased now on digital comic outlets. The film of the same name arrives digitally on March 27 and in Blu-Ray on April 10.
