Stranger Things Possibly Ending After Season 4

Stranger Things is currently one of the most popular shows Netflix has put out. Many fans love the 80's setting and the various horror influences the show adapted. The second season is highly anticipated and is only a few months away, though fans might want to enjoy it while they can, since it could end sooner than expected.

During an interview with Vulture, the creators stated that the show could end with the fourth season. It's an interesting announcement to make, though it doesn't look like it's set in stone just yet. This essentially confirms a third season, and it will be interesting to see how they capitalize on the second season's various threats.

When asked about possibly ending Stranger Things on season 4, Ross Duffer said: "I don't know if we can justify something bad happening to them once a year." It's an honest statement from the co-creator, and one that any fan of good storytelling can appreciate. Certain television shows have suffered from prolonging their storylines and making them last too long, so this could be a good move.

If Stranger Things does end with it's fourth season, fans can only hope that it finishes as strongly as it started. The second season debuts on Netflix on October 27, with even more goodness and horror influenced from the late 80's.
