Stranger Things Eggo Waffle-Based Card Game is Coming

There's already a Stranger Things mobile game but the wave of gaming experiences for Netflix's hit series isn't stopping there. Hasbro is releasing three more products, and one of them is a waffled-theme card game.

I've never seen a packaging for a card game product that looks like something you can find in a grocery store freezer. As io9 reports, the game is similar to UNO but the cards are shaped like waffles. There are 106 Eggo-shaped cards and 7 character cards. Players can choose to play as Will, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Eleven, Hopper, or Barb and draw four Eggo cards with different outcomes: "Cards can either send a player's character to the UPSIDE DOWN, make an opponent draw 2, reverse the order of play, summon the DEMOGORGON, or cause a rift that sends everyone who was RIGHT SIDE Up to the UPSIDE DOWN, and vice versa! " If you want to escape the Upside-down, you'll have to find a way to get rid of all your cards.

The Stranger Things Eggo Card Game is coming this Fall, and it will be available for $15.

The other two Stranger Things gaming products Hasbro will be releasing are Stranger Things Monopoly and Stranger Things Ouija.

Stranger Things Season 2 is set to premiere on Netflix on October 27.
