Stranger Things 2 Gets A Creepy New Poster

The successful release of IT has Stephen King property at an all-time high right now, and speaking of which, Stranger Things, the Netflix show which is inspired heavily by King's work, is nearing its release close to Halloween. After a whole bunch of parody posters, we have a new official poster which teases the season's big bad.

Check it out:

With Will Byers missing from most of the first season, his character looks to be taking center stage as the effects of the Upside-Down have followed him to the real world. Hopefully we get to see him go on adventures with the boys this time around instead of being the isolated and helpless one.

Here's the series synopsis:

It's 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.

With the series releasing close to IT, Stranger Things 2 is at the best possible schedule for its release date. The way modern horror movies are, it's nice to see a "scary" film with elements of adventure and friendship mixed it. I'm not even close to checking out the Conjuring films.

Stranger Things 2 airs on Netflix Oct. 27.
