Steven Spielberg Reiterates What He Thinks is The Worst Indiana Jones Film

Indiana Jones may be one of Steven Spielberg's most popular movie franchises but that doesn't mean the filmmaker is proud of all of the Indie films, and Spielberg is not afraid to discuss one of his flops.

During an interview with The New York Daily News, Susan Lacy, who's the director/interviewer behind the upcoming documentary about the filmmaker titled Spielberg, confirmed that the director still hates Temple of Doom.

Although Spielberg despises the latest Indie film, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Spielberg feels Temple of Doom is the kind of film he wishes he didn't make. As The Playlist points out, the filmmaker expressed his hatred for the film before.

"It was too dark, too subterranean, and much too horrific," explained Spielberg back in 1989. "I thought it out-poltered Poltergeist. There's not an ounce of my own personal feeling in Temple of Doom."

It seems Spielberg's hatred for Temple of Doom will never fade away. Hopefully, the next Indie film, Indiana Jones 5, won't disappoint him. It will be released in theaters on July 10, 2020.

I'm more excited to see his next film, Ready Player One. You can watch the trailer here:
