Steve Rogers Rumored To Take On New Identity In Avengers: Infinity War

It looks like there's a new rumor about Chris Evan's Captain America making the rounds after the Avengers: Infinity War trailer screening at Disney's D23 last weekend.

According to a report by MCU Exchange, Steve Roger's just might drop his name as Captain America and return as Nomad in Avengers: Infinity War. On the run at the end of Captain America: Civil War,Steve sends his vibranium shield to Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark after their big fight. Since then fans have started speculating that Evans might come back as Nomad in Infinity War.

A leaked photo showing Rogers with longer hair and a beard have added fuel to the fire, encouraging the idea that Captain America might take on a different alias in Infinity War. Of course, with Rogers on the run, it makes sense that the Marvel hero return to fight under a different name.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres on May 4, 2018 and its untitled sequel hits cinemas on May 3, 2019.
