Star Wars Vs. Star Trek Debate Ends In Assault And Battery Arrest

There's been a long debate running between the Star Wars and Star Trek franchises. Fans just can't seem to let go and many continue to argue that one franchise is better over the other. Some of these arguments escalate so badly, they turn into fights.

The most recent Star Wars vs. Star Trek brawl happened this month and resulted in an arrest under the grounds of assault and battery.

According to Fox 25 News, 23 year old Jerome Dewayne Whyte was arrested for assaulting a man after a heated Star War vs. Star Trek argument insued in an apartment in the 1400 block of NW 16 Street in Oklahoma.

During the debate, the victim became frustrated and insulted Whyte by saying that he was "just a trick" before heading back into his room. Whyte then followed the victim and shoved him to the ground. The victim got up and said "You wanna replay that?" only to get shoved back to the ground again. According to the police Whyte proceeded to chock the victim with his arm and when the man was close to unconsciousness pulled out a pocket knife. Fortunately, Whyte let go of the man, however when he reached for the knife he ended up cutting himself.

Though the police report doesn't dictate to the exact argument itself, we're pretty sure that this is one debate gone too far.
