Star Wars The Last Jedi: New Promo Art For Snoke And Kylo Ren

Kylo Ren and Supreme Leader Snoke were one of the more mysterious characters before Star Wars: The Force Awakens came out. With The Last Jedi, however, we'll be finding out more about the master and his apprentice, and we have some new promo images for both of them.

What's curious is, the movie seems to be ditching the whole concept of Kylo Ren wearing his signature helmet from the first movie, and most of the promos for the character have him wearing a cape without the mask. The revelation that he was Han Solo's son came unexpected in The Force Awakens, but now Lucasfilm seems to be comfortable just showing everyone Ben Solo's scarred face.

As for the picture of Snoke, this has probably got to be the most menacing we've seen him. For most of TFA, he was just calm and collected, but now it looks like he has it out for the Resistance. Am I the only one who sees a little Gollum in that look? I can imagine Snoke yelling angrily at stupid fat hobbits.

No official synopsis has been released for The Last Jedi yet, but we do know that Rey spends a good part of the movie training under Luke Skywalker, and the Resistance will suffer a massive loss from the hands of the First Order.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out Dec. 15.
