Star Wars: The Last Jedi 'Meet Rose' Featurette Gives Behind-the-Scenes Look at The Film

Franchise newcomer Kelly Marie Tran is playing Rose Tico in Star Wars: The Last Jedi. She's a Resistance maintenance worker and based on what we've seen so far, it looks like she will spend most of the film with Finn (John Boyega).

Disney Channel's Movie Surfers showed a behind-the-scenes look at Tran's character, as well as bits of new footage, including Rose in action during the battle in Crait.

"It's awesome, I still don't believe I'm actually doing it," Tran said. "I feel like I've been living in a dream for the past seven months. Every day you go to set and it's something new and amazing and it just never gets old."

"There's a lot of new cool creatures," Tran said. "There's a lot of action, and I think the story is something that we haven't seen in a Star Wars film before."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to release in theaters on December 15, 2017.
