Star Wars: The Last Jedi Images Reveal 2 More Characters

Fans were treated to a few new shots of the Star Wars: The Last Jedi characters in their full costumed glory in a new photo shoot.

However, it appears that director Rian Johnson and company are far from done when it comes to teasing what's to come for the movie.

A new on-set exclusive footage from Vanity Fair explored the themes and other characters that the movie will take. Most of the scenes we see are really behind-the-scenes look at the film—and they are touching, if only because Carrie Fisher is there with the team on the shoot.

More than the main cast, which was recently seen in four covers of Vanity Fair, we get to see some shots that delve into the roles of two more characters. There's Laura Dern, who will portray the role of Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo. She will be entering the Star Wars saga for this film. Her look is very elegant but coordinated, with a violet tinge from her hair down to her gown.

We also finally get to see Benicio Del Toro's character. While all that can be said about his character is that he's the "shifty" DJ who's also a newcomer to the saga, we can see from his get-up that he may be more of an underground character than a part of the Empire.

Other sneak peeks in the photos include Rey (Daisy Ridley) in the driver seat of the Millennium Falcon where Han used to be. She's beside Chewie, so that's a touching shout-out. We also see the Freedom Fighters, who include General Leia Organa, Poe Dameron, Finn, and Rose Tico with BB-8. The sneak peek also lets fans see some of the guests at Canto Bight Casino, which give an almost eerie vibe of the Capitol characters in Hunger Games, sans the aliens.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be out in December 15.
