Star Wars: The Last Jedi Gets An Epic Cover Featuring Rey and Luke Skywalker

Empire Magazine has unveiled its cover for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi issue which will have a "magical holographic sheen". It features a closer look at the hand of Rey (Daisy Ridley) holding a lightsaber while Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) bionic arm reaches out. It's likely that we won't see this actual shot in the film but it's still cool this image that sums up what the sequel will center on.

Hamill recently said that The Last Jedi won't be primarily about Luke Skywalker, so it will probably focus more on his apprentice. This image perfectly captures the beginning of their journey in the sequel.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is set to hit theaters on December 15, 2017.
